Bull on the Beach Pit Beef
Bull on the Beach is a family owned and operated in Ocean City Maryland. In 1979, Phil Houck moved his family from Baltimore area to Ocean City, Maryland. The Houck’s family first restaurant, Sweet Caroline’s, where the original “Bull” had a humbled beginning in a driveway where a pit was set up every weekend. In 1980 Phil opened the first Bull on the Beach on Ocean City’s historic boardwalk. It soon became an Ocean City institution. Since the beginning, Phil, Marie, their three children, now son-in-law and grandchildren proudly run Bull on the Beach. Through the years Bull on the Beach has created a tribe of loyal customers.
For over 40yrs Bull on the Beach has cooked and served all their Pit Beef products with their costumed signature pit that has been awarded a US Patent.
Bull on the Beach is recognized for several signature items inspired by Baltimore’s Bull and Oyster Roasts. Chesapeake Bay Provisions is proud to have created a synergy with “The Bull” and the capability to delivery these sought-after items nationally. Fresh and made to order.
